Auditioning for LAC productions

Auditions are held at the start of each academic term for the show that will be performed at the end of that term (just before Christmas, Easter and the school Summer holidays). Auditions usually start with a free workshop to which anyone is welcome, even if they’re not sure they want to audition for the show. The auditions themselves are informal - you’ll be asked to read from a script for the part(s) you would like to be considered for, and sing if you would like to be considered for a solo singing role where applicable. 

 

Rehearsals are every Monday and Thursday evening, and some Saturdays. To be a part of a Lantern show requires a significant commitment, you must be able to make the majority of rehearsals and all of show week (Saturday to Saturday).
