Lantern Theatre Company

Since 2002 the Arts Centre has been taking productions into primary schoools.

Now performing under the name Lantern Theatre Company the team have many shows under their belts and offer a range of performances for different ages and areas of the curriculum.

Recent developments have included receiving grants to perform in hospices and hospitals. The children as well as their families and carers have really enjoyed the colourful and lively "Jungle Friends" show brightening what can be a dull and worrying time.

Special Educational Needs
Lantern Theatre Company enjoys performing in Special Needs schools and playschemes. The Foundation Stage shows adapt brilliantly being bright, colourful, simple and short. We have also created a sensory cue sheet for practitioners to enhance the experience of the children.

Resource Packs
Each show comes with a resource pack, free of charge, designed by experienced teachers to support the themes explored in the play and extend the children's experience.

Working with pupils at Malmesbury Primary School
Thanks to a grant from Awards for All we have been able to work with pupils to create a show about Healthy Living which will tour local primary schools. click here for further details
